Another joint Midget, MGB Roadster, MGBGT and MGBGTV8 brochure which refers to
the V8 as "last word in sports motoring" and "this is
the ultimate MG". As the country had just been through a fuel crisis,
the brochure notes "the MGBGTV8 has a lightweight aluminium 3,532cc V8
engine capable of a breath-taking 125mph" with "0-50 in 5.9 seconds.
And MG know-how keeps the fuel consumption to an astonishing low". Ian
Ailes has loaned his copy so we can have a reference copy available online.
