The MG6 GT was on sale in the UK in May 2011 and the MG6
Magnette (saloon) in July 2011, with a 158bhp 1.8 litre turbocharged
petrol engine and a 148bhp 1.9 litre diesel it has good handling
and ride plus a large boot space. Generous equipment levels
offered included integrated satnav and multimedia in-car entertainment,
a reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers, a speed limit warning
system, cruise control and parking radar. The MG6 was dropped
in the UK in 2016 but a second generation MG6 was launched in
China in November 2017 and is on sale there and in Thailand.
