Developed from the Frogeye Sprite, Midgets provided lively sportscar motoring with crisp handling. The Mk1 was launched in 1961 with a 948 engine and later upgraded with a 1098, then the Mk 2 with a 1098, followed by the Mk 3 with the popular 1275 and finally with a 1500 engine.
